Hi Folks,

Sorry i've been absent from the forums lately. I see lots of questions about our ATI cooling solutions so I figured its high time for a proper update.

HD 3870 - In stock. Available in single and dual card configurations on the Dual Drive Bay radiator. Interested? PM me for a discount.
HD 3870X2 - "Sold Out"

HD 4870 - Ready for release on October 1st, 2008. Pre-order now
HD 4870X2 - Ready for release on October 1st, 2008. Pre-order now.

As you guys know, we are always listening to our customers and finding new ways to improve our products. With that said, I'm glad to announce:

- Both the 4870 and the X2 will be available in single and dual card configurations on our Dual Drive Bay.
- We'll also offer a lower cost single card flavours plumbed to a 120mm radiator and fan that will mount just like the PURE and Elite do.
- These and all future GPU blocks from CoolIT will also be available as standalone blocks complete w/ 3/8" ID barbs and a variety of adapters and accessories to facilitate integration into your existing loop.

Feel free to PM or email me any questions @ barry.reicker@coolitsystems.com

Regards,

Barry

Glad to hear it. My computer has a rather... unique setup that prevents water access opposite of the bus, and pretty much requires it to be exactly where the CoolIT LCS places it.

Looking forward to taking advantage of your standalone block! Although I don't see a way to pre-order the HD4870x2 waterblock, I'll be looking this place up on October 1st.

That is a pretty sweet use of the fan tray in your Stacker 830SE. I don't think I would have enough clearance between the top of my GPUs and the tray / radiators for that.

The Dual Drive Bay does not use TECs. On the cold plates for the NDVIDIA 8800 series cards, the TECs are mounted to the GPUs. The ATI series cold plates and the new NVIDIA GTX 200 series plates do not use TECs either.

Using TECs on the GPUs does not allow for a single-slot cooling solution.

Mean looking machine you have there. I guess I should have mentioned, if you are interested in pre-ordering... you should get ahold of me directly.

Cheers!
