Hmmm, I kept missing this thread. Sorry.

Touch the black cooling fins on the FZ while its running. They should be warm to the touch. It could be some dead peltiers if there not.

You can speed you the test if you dont run no fans on the unit while testing. They should start to heat up in under 10seconds.

What pump were you using? It should be much quieter. A bad pump can heat up... Feel that 2.

The fins get warm, but should I be trying to touch it under/above all of the individual peltiers. I was running 2 fans on the domino, lian li 1500rpm and original domino fan, now I am only running the ultra kaze, could that cause my temps to go up, should I add the domino fan in push?

is there any other way to test the peltiers? if a middle one is dead, could that cause the end ones to fail?

Ive only ever had 1 go bad and I could feel a slight difference from 1 side of the fins to the other behind the pelts so ya feel them individually. All of my other pelts seemed to be working on that unit. Depending on how they break I imagine it could go both ways. If the circuit is broke it might cut out all pelts in that bank but than that whole side would be much cooler.

If its getting warm that means that some of them are working.

Your temps arnt too bad. On idle your coolant should be about 19- 21c with a single 120 rad and a FZ from personal exp. Again Im an intel guy so thats intel. I was using an e2200 on that system but it was also a single 120 with FZ.

I have dropped 1C by adding a "push" fan to the rad and the freezone. but the fins on the freezone barely get warm, the air coming out the front is a little bit warmer, but not really warm/hot. the freezone at coolest setting compared to the most quiet setting only changes it by 2-3C give or take a degree.

I suggest using additional water blocks mounted under the TEC’s (Hot Side) and use your radiator in conjunction with your heat sink to keep it cool / this will allow your cold side to drop well below its normal range. I've played around with the Freezone / Freezone Elite and both have heat sinks that fail to remove adequate amounts of heat when it’s pushed beyond its normal range. Overall it’s more than sufficient for everyday use but it’s not designed to handle some of the newer CPU especially when you’re overclocking them. Adding excessively loud high CFM fans will help but this kind of defeats the purpose of using TEC’s

Drummer......

get your professional photographer to post them picuters...... we wants them pics.... lol

Seriously, I would like to see your layout to better see if it can be improved... the loop itself and how it is laid in the case.... Also, can you re-iterate your flow pattern?

reading through the past posts..... I got confused as to how you have it laid out as you were changing things around multiple times...

thanks..
