Unable to read accurate information about your CPU 5 Months ago

Upon starting MTEC v1.55 (with firmware v2.04) on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, I get the following error message:
Unable to read accurate information about your CPU usage. This could be a problemw with your Windows installation. Please contact CoolIT support for more information.
Things were fine before my Boreas pump went, so I'm wondering if its something to do with my new installation. I have upgraded the firmware and re-installed the MTEC software. It displays what appear to be accurate CPU and Coolant temps and TEC Power/Fan Power numbers.
Any suggestions?

Take out the USB cable and uninstall the software.
Restart the PC, insert the USB cable again and reinstall the software....
I had some problems with the tecs, the software kept it the TECS at 100% all the time. I fixed it this way.....(using W7 64 too.

Hi,
I´m having the same problem after firmware v2.04 and MTEC v1.55 update:
Unable to read accurate information about your CPU usage. This could be a problemw with your Windows installation. Please contact CoolIT support for more information.
I´ve tried the above procedure for re-installation with no luck. Any other idea for solving this issue?
Thanks,

My CPU is a core i7 975. I had no problems with this before the firmware and control software update, since CPU was correclty read.
