X.O. Chassis
As the industry is beginning to recognize the value of liquid cooling, we felt it would be appropriate to highlight some of the design freedoms that can be achieved when fully utilizing liquid cooling. The X.O. Concept PC was designed and built to showcase the clean lines and silent operation that can only be achieved by fully leveraging the liquid cooling advantage.
In addition to the unique liquid loop, the X.O. features the CoolIT Chassis Controller which has the ability to monitor 15 temperatures, 6 Fans, 2 Pumps and run fully automatic cooling control programs based on the temperature data as well as CoolITs' patented Predictive Cooling technology.
Other Capabilities include RGB LED control, ESA Compliance, LCD display, emergency shutdown relay, automatic messaging and error handling.
If you are wondering what is "under the hood", the motherboard is an Intel SmackOver X58 Socket 1366 which features liquid cooled voltage regulators, chipset, RAM and, of course, an overclocked Core i7 965XE. The video cards are fully liquid cooled AMD ATI Radeon HD 4870s. Some of the additional unique design features showcase the innovative engineering expertise at CoolIT Systems which go beyond just liquid cooling. This is not a product but rather a demonstration of what is possible when you change the paradigm of computer cooling from air to Advanced Liquid Cooling.
The design, construction, PCB, firmware, software, and concept development was done entirely in house at CoolITs' Calgary based headquarters.
